Notdeadyet, I can't tell, is he actually a troll or is the cliche true, do that many people down south think like him?
Do us all a favor, kill yourself, give your children to us[/QUOTE] Why? I actually contribute to society. Unlike yourself who sits at home on his rear using drugs and mooching off the system.
People with higher education are more likely to vote for him, oh snap. Sorry the south generally pulls up the list for states ranking last in education. Sorry you have a bias against the "elite" and want common people dumbasses running the most powerful organization in the world Hey guys, guys! This graph again
Many, many people think like me. We have finally woke up and decided we aren't going to let asshats like you tell us what to do anymore. The Tea Party movement is just the beginning.
And your point is? The elite did vote for him, the common man was suckered into it with the "change" mantra. Our founding fathers feared people like you. Mindless robots that let others dictate to them. This whole scenario happened a couple years back in Germany. People like you elected Hitler and then he gassed you. Think it can't happen again?
You believe your more intelligent than those who disagree with you. You call Southerns stupid and mock our ideals. Sadly, this will be your undoing.
Nope, the founding fathers feared people like you, the brainless masses who don't know shit about anything and distrust education, hence why if you notice the original states generally don't have provisions for any kind of public referendum and the electoral college exists
Also, "so, a bunch of evidence showing my part of the country is lagging behind in every single field, but IT'S WORKING GOD DAMNIT!"
AND I CAN'T COME UP WITH ONE ARGUMENT THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE CALLING SOMEONE WHO DISAGREE WITH ME A DRUG USING WELFARE RECIPIENT ARGGGH, socialism
I don't think either of you will be able to convince the other. I see nothing wrong with having some regional pride but I think fostering distrust and hatred for other parts of the country serves to distract the grassroots from keeping an eye on the criminals in Washington, D. C. who have been hard at work ensuring that we all have to work longer and harder to pay up our yearly tax obligations which fund programs and policies that do not reflect our interests and are not intended to help us.
This is the thing that bothers me the most about homeschooling. No kid deserves to be taught by someone who is this far outside of the mainstream. It's terrible preparation for adult life in the real world. I don't think the percentage is large, but the internet and Fox News has allowed the far-right fringe element here to better organize and focus its power. They only talk to each other and listen to their own highly edited version of the "facts", so this movement is likely to grow in strength. It's kind of unprecedented in American history. We have always dealt with ignorance, but not ignorance by choice.
I'm sorry, I don't hate the south, I just hate everything he epitomizes, like it's the biggest cliche of everything wrong with t he south put into one person and why the rest of the world laughs at our country. A distrust of government, that he constantly uses, a distrust of education and the educated so he'll teach his kids to be exactly like him with no dissenting opinion, refusing to believe he may not have any institutional problems despite every statistic on the south shows them lagging in every single field, ect. Also the fact I think this guy is serious, and the problem is there's a lot of him. Like you got bigcityhillibillie on one side, he's serious too, but he's so extreme it's hilarious, this guy actually has a movement behind him
This is what I hate, we live in an era of unlimited information, yet there's a very large segment of the American population that actually takes pride in being ignorant, literal pride in the fact they supposedly speak for the common man.
I hate them, they do it by choice, I'm depressed for his children and so many others that will grow up not being able to function in society. Hopefully in 30 years he will in fact be on the fringe of society.
The double entendre of "movement behind him" is not lost on me but that is not a baton I'm going to run with... Taking on the mentality in the manner that you've chosen will not do anything to move it... pointing out to someone how ignorant you think they are and how ignorant you find their stance to be will only inflame them- and have the effect of more firmly entrenching them as the overwhelming message being sent is along the lines of "I'm smarter than you"... not a fruitful way to exchange ideas or engage in a debate. There's a saying about statistics- that they are just a scientific means of misleading people. At very best I see them as a way of cultivating opinions... to groom the mindsets of large groups of people in order to make them more likely to support policies sold under the guise of curing ills detailed by statistics. They are a way of closing minds. The best way I've found to exchange ideas is to reach out and find common ground and hash out differences without casting aspersions on someone's presumed education/intelligence... which only ensures that they remain hostile to what you have to say.
