I think smoking is slowing my weight loss. It makes me too tired. One thing at a time, though. I lose interest when I'm gung ho about something.

What's driving me batshit is how my stomach is responding to the loss. The left side, which got more stretched on than the right during my bedrest pregnancy is starting to droop. It's like half a flesh apron. It looked better when it was full of fat. Since I already have the c section scar I think I'll get it tucked.
And the lovely little bit of roundness I finally got to my bottom is disappearing. That just pisses me off.

actually, no word of a lie- yes. And even if I didn't, this is what a packet of ciggs looks like here in the UK

these are stickers on the carton. Where's the dandy little 'you will die' caption on the back of a Happy Meal box? That's a little unfair.

Aww, well do what's right. My mum has 4 C sections (me being one), and she has the same sort of concern.

I actually feel the other way about smoking. I sometimes can skip a meal and have a smoke and a cup of coffee to suffice. It's like, because my hand is reaching for my mouth, i'm tricking my brain into thinking it's feeding the stomach :D

It makes no difference to my eating. I simply don't eat regularly enough.

Lol... Those are fun, we don't get those stickers in America...

I don't know how it is in the UK.. But here it feels like smoking is considered equal to baby-stomping. There's quite a bit of hostility towords smokers. (maybe it's just where I am.)

I don't know why you appreciate those comments, they're not given with the hopes that you might actually change and live longer, they're given so the person can have that 'holier then thou' moment where they get to tell you that they're better than you. I personaly don't appreciate it, but I don't spaz out or anything. (I don't really get that angry when people say, "that's all you're going to eat? Here, let me buy you a cheezeburger".. In the op I was just venting)

I guess we're just different people...

Maybe, or we just know different people. Stranger abuse me, friends try to persuade me to quit for my health- i'm fine with that.

I don't like some dick outside of a club telling me I will die, that's not very nice and simply put, plain rude

but yeah, whatever the topic in question, i'm a firm believer of honesty with your close ones, and whether we're talking food, drugs, gambling addictions

if someone has a problem, and I want them to overcome it, I will always tastefully try and put the wheels in motion. I know some people hate it, but heck, they can't mind that much because they are still friends with me and know it's not callous :D

my husband, dad and sister were out golfing when my dad decides to stop at the house of one of his running friends. she's a sagging skinned bottle blonde with enormous fake boobies and my dad, while talking to this chick grabs my sister's belly and squeezes it and mocked her saying "i wish she'd go running." fucking dick.

right after i'd had my daughter, i flew out to visit my parents. remember i'd been on bedrest for month and months. i was roughly blimp shaped. i had been up all night with my fussy baby and my mom treated me to some kind of donut. my dad walks in, first time i'd seen him all day and say "you're eating again?! donuts will just make you fatter." i not only got in his face, i backed the big man in the corner, ripped him a new asshole and even had my equally huge brother telling dal "just say your sorry!!!" they'd never seen me mad before or stand up for myself. but i wasn't going to be pigeonholed by one donut and the enormous weight that shows up when you're not allowed to walk any further than the toilet for seven months.

My grandma had the audacity to tell me I had a lot of pudge after just having my son, and I almost wanted to strangle her. and they all wonder why I have an eating disorder. the comments i have gotten since i was young, not to mention all my ex-bfs calling me fat, didnt give me one, but certainly contributed to it. and I get the same thing, I get called fat all the tiem by the "so called eating disorder support" community in my neighborhood. bc I am not super skinny anymore. I am like how does that help me?
At least I am an healthy weight for once, and not severely underweight and people tend to make still horrible comments like wow you eat a lot, etc. i am like , that kinda makes it worse fo ran recovering anorexic.

The problem is once you women put on a few years or pop-out a few kids you think it’s a license to let yourself go :(

Instead of aging gracefully and staying fit and trim through jogging and exercise well into your 70s and 80s you retire to the phat farm to roll around with the hogs

I would have laughed really hard had I actually not read the part about recovering anorexic. My sister in law nearly died that way, you know, my brother, much like yourself, forgetting he's not all that funny. :/

Considering that post after post, your opinion has been exactly what that statement said or implies with regards to overweight people, it is rather difficult to then state that it is off the cuff comments.

Seeing as even his explanation of that post was a jibe at overweight people - I don't think he'll change his attitude.
