Not loosing weight, always exhausted, skin is bad, and many bruises... what am I doing wrong guys, help... please?
what have you been eating??? do you do dairy? it is possible your skin is deficient in iron. you can take supplements or eat dark leafy greens or a couple of other things. its not too hard, i made spinach dip today in my blender which is loaded with calcium. just put some peanuts in before for a little protein and some vegan butter to flavor and dipped carrots in it, very energizing to me. theres probably other easy tasty ways of getting good nutrition too : )
Vitamins, vitamins, vitamins. Get some protein in you, and iron, some B12, and make sure you take multivitamins at the least. =)
u gotta make sure ur getting ur protein and ur vitamins!! wat do u eat daily?? make sure u get all that in there, its very important, eat lots of soy, nuts, beans, rice, tofu, and i suggest coconut oil, i take two tablespoons a day one in the morning and one in the afternoon, it has improved everything, it cleanses ur thyroid and helps u loose weight, make sure its organci, that other shit ahs chemicals in it and defeats the whole purpose.
I guess mainly I've been eating a lot of bread and toasted sandwhiches... I guess I"m not suprised my body is screwed, but... I was wondering, with those symptoms, what would I specifically be lacking? Protein and Iron? Yeah, I do dairy, Iwish I liked Soy milk, I really do!
Fiber so the body can cleanse (whole grains, veggies, fruits), something acidic so the fats can metabolize (add citrus juice, for example) protien in the beans/nuts/legumes area. Vitamins as a supplement to start, because your reserves are pooping out on you. All that grease is hard on the body, and skin is the largest elimination organ. See the veggie FAQ and do some reading. The easy way is to remember to eat lots of color: green (dark is better) orange/yellow, red at each meal.
up yer liquid intake (non-alcoholic) mild dehydration can really cause lethargy...especially if yer gettin' through a lotta bread-type foods
Oh, great advice Oz! I get used to saying it so much here in Colorado, that I forget flatlanders at lower altitudes get dehydrated, too! Add juices, teas, and water water water!
Try mixing Soy Milk with something else, strawberry syrup or chocolate syrup [most of those ARE vegan surprisingly] just so you can get your vitamins. If you really despise it, drink it like a shot of alcohol, lol. Soy milk is one the best things to incorporate into your vegetarian diet. I, too, went through this... I wasn't drinking soy milk, nor eating quite properly, and became constantly fatigued. I started downing 2 cups of soy milk a day, and QUICKLY and DRAMATICALLY improved... Not to mention, I adapted a liking to soy milk, when I hadn't really cared for it before. Otherwise, if you must, take vitamins. Though, I personally try to stay away from them and just feed myself what I need.
my sentiment exactly. sodove funny to see all these vegheads immediatley go "PROTEIN VITAMINS PROTEIN VITAMINS" they almost sound like meat eaters with what they think they need. i can promise you protein is not why you are tired,, and vitamins are probably of some kind of relevance but most veg products are more than fortified with what you need if your eating healthy amounts of fruits and veggies. you probably just need to cut back on the processed foods and stop toasting the little nutrients bread has in it out of it. toasting or cooking most anything heats molecules so much it makes them very complex toxic molecules i once read .digestive system is the bulkiest in the body and requires the most energy to process all the shit we put it through. anyway, your eating whole grain bread right??? try fasting, youll get real energetic and cleansed then. or raw foodism. otherwise just stop trying and wanting to have energy, then youll get a ton of it, watch
it sounds like your iron levels are low. go to doc's and get a full blood count done, and maybe take iron tablets, eat more green's etc. the normal signs are bruises, tired, your eye's go pale (the pink bit), lack of energy. it can be sorted out though
