Time magazine on Wednesday named Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky person of the year 2022 , as well as "the spirit" of his country for their resistance to the Russian invasion .

No matter what you 'believe' this man has courage and determination!

"Whether the battle for Ukraine fills one with hope or fear, Volodymyr Zelensky has galvanized the world in a way we haven't seen in decades," wrote Edward Felsenthal , editor of Time, for whom this year's decision " It's never been so clear."

This small-statured fellow is indeed a giant among men; his fierce determination, guts, courage, and unending dedication and loyalty to his people is mind-boggling, as well as beyond inspirational.

When, some months ago, my nephew remarked that I resemble Zelensky, I took it as a tremendous compliment, and could not have been more honored.

The Ukraine has been battered, shelled. bombed, trampled, and almost destroyed, and yet, like Zelensky himself, the Ukranian people STILL are holding on to their homeland, despite so much suffering, mental and physical.

I was VERY pleased when I heard the TIME had made Zelensky "Person Of The Year"; the powerful courage he has shown, especially in standing firm against Russian foes, is indeed something to be in great awe of.

May God be with Mr. Zelensky and his people, and, may one day the senseless attacks against his battered and war-weary country will cease, and be, finally, relegated to history........

    Слава Україні!
As a fellow Slav I want to see Ukraine vindicated and standing on its own in harmony with its neighbors, even Russia once Putey moves on one way or another.

May God bless you, my friend........I could not agree more!

I cannot wait for the day when the Ukraine is again living and peace and harmony, and normalcy begins to make its slow, but steady return.

The faith and courage of the Ukrainian people indeed should be a lesson to ALL of us, no matter what part of the world we call home!
