The US wants Ukraine as a member of NATO because it is very close to Russia and is therefore a useful source of espionage on Russia.

 

Its a partner but no Nato troops are on Ukraine soil

The President said the other day it wants to join Nato in time but he fears the other members will veto because of the problems .

Nato is defensive not offensive .

Nato to my knowledge has never started a war and always practiced defensive tactics .

 

It's their legit right to veto.....just like the U N vetoed like hell in the past

Of course as NATO has an open policy of membership but a new member has to be accepted by the others .

THe Ukraine armed forces have been bringing their forces with improvements such as better rations in line with Nato standards since around 2014 . As the war with the Russian Seperatists proved they needed to improve .

 

And don't go telling me that Iraq had WOMD because that sick theory has loooooong been debunked

 

The Gulf war was nothing to do with Nato . It wasnt a participant .

In New Jersey we had a small gas pipeline to a former coal fired power plant in Mamora, NJ. The greens had a fit.
Even though the pipeline would cut carbon emissions.

What is preventing people from protesting Nordstream?
