    Couple of questions:

How do you find "your posts" during a thunderstorm and how do you become a hipforums supporter now, during a thunderstorm of course?

    LOL 66.

I love thunderstorms, but they make me uneasy cuz I live in Moore, Oklahoma, which is a tornado magnet. At least half the time, storms mean tornadoes or risk of, and I've been through 2 of them, as well as the aftermath of the big on one may 3rd a few years ago. I think I really do have tornado phobia.

I have some crazy tornado memories myself.

I lived in Dayton, Oh in the 70's when a tornado destroyed the town of Xenia, which was maybe 2 or 3 miles from where we lived. Apparantly my mom and I were driving home and she heard on the radio that a tornado had levelled the town next to us, we rushed home and our area was completely untouched.

A few years later we were in the process of moving when we heard the train whistle sound behind us, where there a visible funnel cloud. We pulled into a rug store to sit it out where I nearly choked on some hard candy!

I just heard thunder. And it is looking rather ominous and forboding outside.

Yep, that's right old hippie, you predicted days in advance that a thunderstorm was blowing in for me right now, I hear the sounds of a freight train coming. Dug this thread up just to prove you were right, Monday morning, May whatever..thunder has entered the great lakes region.
