Calling International Rescue i LOVE this show....I admire Gerry Anderson for his amazing eye for detail....the sets that were built for this show and all his other shows amaze me....
stop the presses, there is a movie version coming out this summer directed than non other than commander will riker(john frakes)
i think i heard that was coming out...its a live-action version though, right?....i don't think i would like it....i like the supermarionanimation, not sure if that's how its spelled, techinque that was used originally.....
My Dad used to watch Thunderbirds first time round, then my brother and I became obsessed with the reruns. Of course now I'm a lot more cynical and laugh at the lame dialouge/plotting and way the puppets move. But it's still fab*. Although I shall always maintain that Captain Scarlet is/was better. the man had vision and i think all of his shows were/are excellant.....the plots are always a little silly but i think its most impressive what he did to make the shows possible...the sets are AMAZING.....
