throat closing up?

    Hmmm. Weird. I would see a doctor, anyway, it may be something that you don't want to ignore. They may do something to bar chocolate that effects you.

    I would definitely see a dr about that... Fruits in the melon family make my throat close... And I just love melon... :(

    but still...what about when this happens when food ISN'T involved? like it does to me...

    like when i yawn sometimes or turn my head funny?

    it's really scary.

    Have you seen the Dr. about your thyroid? A friend of mine had a thyroid condition that caused this...

    hahaha!!!

    and autumn... i had my thyroid checked for whatever it is that my mom and my aunt have... i forget if it's hyper or hypo. it's the condition that causes mood swings and either weight gain or loss (hehe, yeah, i know a lot, LOL)... and i dont have that.

    Could be GERD (reflux)... chocolate is one of the main culprits. Just last night I woke up choking (as I often do) and then I got a full-on reflux attack... and then I remembered I had ice cream with chocolate topping just before I went to bed.

    But also I find with some chocolate it gives me a hot sensation in my throat... that's fairly common apparently. I don't know if that's a reflux thing or not though.
