i really really really liked being able to just go straight through pages of posts, reading chronologically, and i know i can still do this now, BUT, i'm afraid other people are going to use the threading and be really annoyed by 'linear' people who post as a reply to the last post instead of the person they're particularly responding to...SO, should we just all switch to threading, all stay 'linear,' or let the 'linear' people mess up all the organization of the threads? hmmm....maybe i have this all wrong, but it seems like an issue...i hope i'm wrong!

    Don't forget hybrid mode ;)

I like linear..unless the threads gets really long i find that on forced threaded sites like /. i miss posts that i might have wanted to read because they were ebyon my threaded threshold and i ignored them.

i just don't want to disorganize things or be lost in the bottom of deep threads because of this, but i'm too lazy for organizing it all...i guess everyone just has to use hybrid or be thorough...my brain's gonna explode ugh

Well all we had was linear on the old forums and it worked just fine and nobody complained. All you had to do was quote if you wanted to respond directly to a post from the middle of a thread.

I am a linear type of person and I probably will be until the day I die.

I hate eyebrow threading. Super painful, feels like it takes forever. Wax all the way!
