If I feel the OP is biased or insincere and the topic is :beatdeadhorse5: and in many good discussions I regard that worthy enough to point out. edit: I am very glad I am not the only one who sees the creator of this thread for what he is.
Also, the decision to start a new thread in RT rather than bump an existing thread in a more serious discussion forum section looks very much like a troll move.
Agreed. It's more like counting the things you know about the original poster and draw a conclusion from that, then that I judged this thread on itself alone.
One last thing before I'm tempted to post more cat memes. Whenever I see a thread started by op, I imagine a trolly-pudgy looking man who dangles just one piece of meat and throws it to a hundred hungry dogs then watches from afar. Some of the dogs take the bait and start fighting, but ya know, some of us dogs are vegetarians. I'm the one saying, "hey guys, this is fucked up, let's find food somewhere else."
When it comes to abortions GOD is leading the way Miscarriage Statistics 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage; and some estimates are as high as 1 in 3. If you include loss that occurs before a positive pregnancy test, some estimate that 40% of all conceptions result in loss. United States: There are about 4.4 million confirmed pregnancies in the U.S. every year. 900,000 to 1 million of those end in pregnancy losses EVERY year. More than 500,000 pregnancies each year end in miscarriage (occurring during the first 20 weeks). Approximately 26,000 end in stillbirth (considered stillbirth after 20 weeks) Approximately 19,000 end in infant death during the first month. Approximately 39,000 end in infant death during the first year. Hotwater
There are many reasons people decide to terminate a pregnancy. Most do not do so on a whim and have a lot of soul searching to do. What ever they decide to do, it is their decision to make. While it would be nice to live in a world where all children were wanted and had happy lives and good homes and parents and health, that is not the reality. I have known 2 people who chose to terminate and their decision is still something that haunts them. They have both stated it was still the right decision at the time.
I am well aware of the miscarriage rates BUT... I hated reading that. You know, being that I'm sitting here 12 weeks pregnant right now. At least my LARGEST risk of miscarriage is over (as most occur before 12 weeks)...But still, hate reading that shit... Oh and Heat, everyone probably knows more people than 2. Most people just don't talk about it at all.
while I would never personally have an abortion - I make it my policy not to force other people to live their lives according to the way I choose. For any other womon = her body, her choice
Ya know you guys are doing it all wrong. Almost every person/regular has called the OP out for this thread being a weak trolling attempt, yet people post in response to the tune of 8 pages worth. I don't get it, why not just ignore the troll and see if it skulks away. I know the "ignore it and it will go away" strategy hasn't worked on me yet, but there is a first time for everything.
