So because we have artifacts....... a fetus with no nervous system is the same as a baby, and we're just imagining the difference - everything is really the same as everything, in fact. Gotcha, makes sense.
I've been thinking about this abortion thing. In Britain its allowable upto 20 sthg weeks post conception. Some people think the law should be changed. I think abortion should be allowable from TWELVE YEARS post birth?
I firmly believe that it is not up to me to make a judgment on anyone's personal morality whether I agree with it or not.
Having seen pictures of aborted fetuses, I really have to say that it is terrible. I wouldn't want to be a woman who must make that choice. I think it's a shitty form of birth control. When the wife and I were done making babies, I started using condoms--pretty simple method for avoiding pregnancy. Though I wouldn't take the choice away from a woman, I highly dislike it.
Abortion is NOT a form of birth control, it's a way to get rid of an unwanted fetus. Birth control is about preventing pregnancy, not terminate it. It would be pretty retarded to use abortion as such since it's no light medical intervention, plus its cost and its difficult access make it for the worst form of birth control ever. If you really wanna have an effective way to prevent getting pregnant, the pill or condoms are a lot better (and, unlike abortion, this is what they're meant for).
