But why do we want to see what we can't do? Better recover well. After training for a few weeks, we will play a football game. Not of the one you have in North America but of the one we play in South America. What you call soccer, which is a little softer than American football. It will be a match for seniors only. What do you say?
I like the idea... Here in LA PAZ, we have a wonderful thing going on... bouncing titties!!! Women's Sand VolleyBall Toournaments weekly along the malecon.... very fun! Very BOUNCY if you know what I mean... Parada de tatas??? Hola mi amigo en argentina! And Howdy to you @oldguynurse !!!! How is that nurse treating you now????
HA! I can imagine how interesting it must be to watch those volleyball matches. I would say in Spanish: Danza de tetas But it's a personal choice. Saludos Zen y Oldguynurse
Matey, just remember - BRANDY for medicinal purposes - a little tot in your coffee at breakfast time won't hurt you at all !!!
Was just wondering where our friend was and how it's going. Praying for you OldGuy! I hope you have the best of care and heal well!
Ok, folks, after 13 days away yer buddy is back. Hopefully more frequently this time. The carcass is still not doing well. Tuesday night, out of the blue, in the middle of the night, developed a serious Upper Respiratory Infection. Short of breath, coughed up some things that crawled off under a cabinet, etc.(Ok, maybe not that bad, but still serious.) Got in touch with the home health nurse and my doc, and got some antibiotics on-board as well as specimens for Culture and Sensitivity. Better last few days, rather quickly actually. O2 Sat is still lower than my norm, and sleepy a lot, but getting back to norm. Did something drastic to the muscles of the hip last week for sure. It's gone back to about where I was pain-wise and endurance-with-walking to where it was 6 weeks ago. That's a disheartening step backwards. Have I mentioned the diarrhea? Umm, best left alone. The really good news is that earlier this evening, I got an idea, and with the help of my wife, regained easy access to my laptop! 'Til now it's lived under the edge of the bed and required setting up each time. I told her my idea and she remembered a small fold-up table in a back room that would fit in a cubbyhole in the bedroom. So between the two of us we set up a work station so I can transfer from bed, to wheelchair, to table, open lid, power on, Ta-Dah!! The best part was whenever something wasn't going to quite fit,......it did! (As wrote the poet Henley in Invictus, "I thank whatever gods may be for.....") Now to get back into practice with my typing. (I've fixed a bunch of typos already!) Ok, I'm gonna graze Hip for awhile then elevate the swollen lower legs and try to catch a little sleep. See you guys more often now!!! --- P.
Brandy doesn't mix too well with certain medications, so you need to err on the side of caution. The medication I have to take is such that I'm not supposed to have alcohol at all - but SOD THAT !!!
