my sister had a sweep done, she's 2 cm dilated, midwife touched baby's head, she has 'contractions' for like 2 hr's, they have stopped now, we are hoping for tomorrow. wow i cant wait!!! yay new baby
well they stopped late last night. i feel so bad for her, she's got another sweep on wednesday so hopefully it might work
Those braxton-hicks contractions, I think they're called, sure feel like the real thing! With both of my kids I was late, had contractions for a good 8+ hours, tons of pain, only to be told I wasn't really in labor. I remember my very first contraction way before the baby was due. That's some powerful stuff, labor or not. It got to the point with my first baby, who was way overdue, that I stopped answering the phone because people would just say, "You haven't had that baby YET?" I know it might be a little hard to wait right now, but before you know it, the baby will be here and this waiting will be a distant memory.
