Those of you (most, by the looks of things) who don't care about classical music...

the one thing i can't stand about classical music is it's listeners. especially the ones who are very knowledgeable in the realms of theory and composition, because they can be such elitist assholes. to the point of underestimating the technical abilities of many pop/rock musicians. the fact that music makes use of lyrics doesn't necessitate that it is only a vehicle for those lyrics.

i wasn't aware that sophistication was the only criterion for good music.
