Amy Adams is my favorite actress of today....too. There is something very genuine and sincere about her...

It could seem that way...many families are together for one and with the in laws for the other.
But in reality it's not even close. Christmas season starts the day after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is little more than a 4 day weekend for most people.

 

I learned that Buddy just has to be the center of attention.
Playing cards on the floor with two of my daughters and future son-in-law, we got about three hands in before Buddy decided he was being neglected so he started to walk around us in circles like a shark and every other time he would cut in between us and walk on the cards.
After a while when we didn't stop everything and devote every second of our attention to him he just walked over and laid down in the middle of us on top of all the cards.
I throw his ball and he goes and gets it, comes and lays down next to me.....until we are about halfway through another hand and he goes and lays down on everything again!!!!

after the fourth time we gave up on cards.......

he is such a silly little butthead, he knew EXACTLY what he was doing...LOL

 

By "mice" I thought she was referring to some sort of chocolate fudge dessert.

 

We have something called Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders.
But it's not THAT big of a deal.
We just watch the military parade, listen to a few patriotic songs, and lol at Serbs cause they lost.

 

I just don't understand the destroying your back thing.

If those aliens were so smart and could travel all the way from their origins to earth, I'd have though they'd have been able to learn our language rather than waste months of humans trying to understand theirs.

Just sayin'.
