Yes! I was reading about this and couldn't quite understand how they could be considered unessential.

Another one: Prison guards are not being paid, but they still have to go to work. And what's worse is that they are still required to oversee inmates who work prison jobs--and the inmates are still getting paid.

Meanwhile I don't actually get paid lol, but that's cool I get benefits instead like free stable for my horse, free food for my horse and other additives. But like, I mean, if you needed money then as if you'd work for no pay is what I mean.

 

From what I understand some workers will get generous bonuses once the government is reopened.

Which is probably a good motivating factor to continue working but would still be frustrating after 32 days of no pay when you have a mortgage, car payment, and utilities due now

 

Probs get taxed a lot though, usually happens with large sum payments.
