the turd hole that is south/central america is the direct result of a very conscious, very intentional american imperialist hand in foreign politics spanning decades. if you actually read history U.S. and South American relations/sabotage you would be singing a different tune. it's easy to fling a turd into your neighbors yards and complain about the poor hygiene of the everyone around you, cleaning yourself of any responsibility and conveniently contracting selective amnesia.

 

I'm kind of undecided on border policy. I think immigration is fine, but we have a population crisis at some point. I don't know what to do about it. I think it's the best policy to be fair and just to everyone though. So yeah. It sucks but you have to draw the line and say "Ok, this many new citizens per year" or something like that. I haven't a clue if that's PC or not. But my thinking is not to open the border so that everyone can come and just sort of leech off of America. I'm actually a little bit frightened of that. I just don't think a wall will fix anything. And I don't trust the intention behind building it.

Mostly, I think it's for looks. It's being done maliciously to stick a thumb in the eye of the poor, helpless, innocent immigrants who have done nothing but attempted to better themselves by coming to the United States, and that is something we cannot allow to happen.

Spanish were dicking around in the south close to 200 years before US even existed

And they started off with a more advanced native population

We will seperate it into 3 main periods

The first Spanish settlement in the Carribean 1493 through to 1775. The US didnt even exist in that time frame

1776 through to 1947, The CIA didnt exist in that time frame

1947 onwards.

Mexico's president Obrador is a hardcore socialist. We need to build the wall to keep American millennials from escaping to Mexico.

 

They can go to Cancun for college break, only 540 murders there last year just in one town, safer than evil capitalist america

 

In response Mexico recently opened a military base near Cancun which should quell the violence, and they will even have MPs patrolling the beaches
like they do at other Mexican resorts.


Besides 85% of those killings are brown on brown violence between warring drug gangs, not brown on white violence like you've suggested.

so the wall would sufficiently create job before and after as you need to man the long wall I'm guessing and it has the potential to stop drug cartels, or at least diminish the frequency.
on the con side.. it costs money and since trump proposed it most people are against it.

Personally I wouldn't build a wall, I'd build a big moat, like I'd full just dig up where they want the wall and make it a big ass deep moat, there's enough water running California and Texas to easily keep it filled. Make it into a big ass natural marine habitat.

we need to stop confusing what is real. mexico is more america then every immigrant from europe.

We took by conquest of Mexico our two states with the Highest GDP, California and Texas, each producing more GDP than Australia.

So we plundered two Australian + economies from Mexico, and have let them be the front line in our drug war for the past 50 years.
