You wouldn't be fucked if you lived on an off-grid sustainable community that grew all the food you needed.

    Of course,
all the people in the cities are fucked. so fucked...

    No.

I've noticed that there have been a lot more people predicting the end of the world then there have been apocalypses. So I'll take this hysteria with a grain of salt.

We're not predicting the end of the world---------

We just can see how corrupt our government is and what they plan on doing.

Do you know that the federal reserve, which is not a government organization, controls the flow of all the money here?

Do you know that they are the reason our economy is fucked?

Did you know they orchestrated the depression in the early 1900's?

This isn't the end of the world.

    Just....absolute corruption, lies, and war.

we grow 90% of our food(we can do without the other 10% that is no problem),we have water on the property,we save our own seeds, heat and cook with wood, going "off grid" is not a problem.
we are isolated enough, our place is easy to defend,we have a year of food boxed up and ready if we need to bug out,we have 140,000 acres out our back door to disappear into.
we could live indefinitely in the forest or here,we have the tools knowledge and rescources to do so..

i am not overly concerned for us,its the non believers i worry about.

that being said,,there not welcome here once they finally see the light.. lol

what people fail to realize is this coming collapse is intended to be global and its already beginning all over the world.. the way america goes is the way the rest of the world is going to go..

its a fucked up day when you read that india of all countries is in the beginnings of a "credit crisis"...

    And I disagree.

Not a government organization, except for the government appointed board of directors.

The economy is fucked for lots of reasons, but somehow I don't think our beliefs correlate all that well.

Except that our economic system is cyclical and depressions happen on a regular basis.

I'm not trying to pick a fight; I honestly don't care what you believe. But the cyclical semi-logic you're trying to use to convince me (or whatever you're trying to do) I find trite. So on that note, I'm going to go for a run; if in 20 years I live under a fascist dictator, feel free to say "I told you so". But until then, maybe you should keep thinking.

I hate arguing with people who don't live in the states.

They never see the severity of the situation.

Man... we had a "fire drill" at my job the other day.... All I could think about on the way down the stairs were those MTV holocaust commercials Matt posted.

I kept thinking, "This would be an easy way to get a few hundred people at once". . .

And the financial collapse will not come from the federal reserve. The financial collapse is more likely to come from 401(k) and other similar pension plans once the biggest bulk of the baby boomers start to retire. It'll start with the stock market and spread outward....quickly....

You're right, it's not just the federal reserve

I was just trying to show that these things are orchestrated, and controlled.

the collapse is coming from the overwhelming debt that is permeating every sector of this economy from the government all the way down to the consumer..

the ONLY thing propping up the stock market at the moment is people continuing to contribute to there 401K's. as they lay offs expand through the economy the 401k contributions will diminish and the stock market will crash.
the fdic is broke, the banks havent even began failing in any number yet, once people see how bad the financial sector is the investments in banks will cease and a further collapse of the banking system will be the result..
we are months away from a collapse,,not years...

I honestly find it to be more a situation of irresponsibility than orchestration, but to each their own.

No, not to each their own

    They control everything...............

They are aware of what's happening.
