I guess the reasoning here would be they're not directly supporting Saudi interference in Yemen. They're just doing solid business with Saudi Arabia. What the saudis do with the weapons? Uhm... I was just doing business!

Actually, what i mean is not maybe. The majority probably did. But it was not the whole reason. Certainly not for the US. They figured out certainly by 1942 that loss of the european market would be disastrous for growth of the american economy.
