BraveSirRubin, I heard one time that with their thoughts people create the world they live in.

Whether that is true or not you decide but it seems that the "real" world that you live in is filled with people driven by "sex, greed, power, hate and so on" and "sometimes people hate you for no reason other than race, religion, and ethnicity" and where "trying to change the entire world is pointless and a waste of an existence, simply because it is impossible".

It seems you're stuck and there's nothing you can do about it. I just feel sorry for you.

It seems whenever anyone makes a point that contrasts with your ideology you come to the conclusion that they are in some way emotionally incomplete or that they have simply "given up".

Not everyone needs to convince themselves that there is a simple answer to the terrible things that happen in life.

It's easy to talk about good wars and how practical they are when you're standing on the sidelines but the reality of war is something entirely different.

As I've said before there are two kinds of people; those who are willing to die for their beliefs and those willing to kill others for their beliefs.

What it comes down to is; if you are one of the latter that means that one day you will kill one of the former. Just remember when pulling the trigger, I told you so.

 

I have lived through 3 wars in my short lifetime, and have been directly involved in them as a civilian. I know what having bombs dropped on you feels like.

War will never end. Humanity will always kill each other, just as two dogs will fight over one last bone.

You could have read at least the first post in this thread.

If you had you might have noticed that this thread was created because his posts in the original thread bordered on hijacking that thread.

So this thread was created, not to gang up on and humiliate him, but to have a forum to discuss with him his thoughts on the subject without derailing the original thread.

 

I didn't "hijack" your thread, I posted what I felt hippie nature was to me.

Which is to say a complete waste of time and a tool used to spread disinformation.

Since OWB couldn't stand listening to an opinion other than his own he made this thread.

Hippie nature as I understand it would mean peace and love, but apparently when OWB throws that term around he only means for people living in the U.S who don't need to worry about a cultural genocide.

People in other parts of the world apparently don't matter to him as he would rather let brutal dictators cull hundreds of thousands of people than take a stand in defending there human rights.

Maybe if they had different color skin and acted more like him he would be more understanding.

The willingness to remain ignorant and ignore the suffering of others is true hippie nature.

And to convince yourself that you somehow have the "moral" high ground because you repeat bygone slogans used to sell records years ago is just foolish.

 

If you're just going to rant at least think them over first.

Everyone has their own viewpoints on whats right an whats wrong , an no one can change anyone else.
