Try getting something to eat in a crowded buffet line without getting your hand bit. That should give you some idea.

You raise an interesting point.
Their are facial recognition cameras that fitted to a police officers shoulder strap will give full details of any person in the street within 5 seconds and alert the officer if the person is wanted. A grid of these cameras in city centers would catch every wanted criminal within days, but their use is highly controversial.

If you have ever driven a car fitted with sat-nav. you will know that it alerts you if you are speeding. Think about it, the government own the satellite.
Their are already plans to abolish road tax and charge drivers by the mile. Rate will be different on motorways, and city centers away from where you live and also vary at different times of the day. I have little doubt that the system (known as smart number-plates) will be introduced fairly soon..It will also allow police to stop a car at the press of a button. The system has been running on test in the UK for several years, fitted to cars and municipal vehicles owned by the government.
Lexus were the system pioneers, their control room knows everything that you can see on your car dashboard, along with where you are. At the moment, it is only fitted on their top models.

Technology is really quite frightening at times.
Now how am I going to plan my next bank robbery, perhaps I can still escape on a pushbike.

It's weird because I'm not concerned with germs in general, like I'm quite relaxed about food being dropped on the floor and I don't use cleaners that kill everything.. It's just people things. I don't enjoy sharing dips either.
