im on my balcony, on my laptop. wireless internet connection hurts my head, i cant think too much about it. but this is very neat how i can go onto the internet even outside.
My college has it so we can sit outside and "do schoolwork". Yea right, I will probably be wasting my time on hipforums.
i can have a lot of problems with it though it randomly disconnects sometimes maybe i didnt install it right?? but its definitly awesome
We have a lap top but it is'nt connected to anything yet. I would really like wireless too!! Who do you get the service through? (...and yeah, it is really weird how it can do that )
well sophie has high speed on her desktop and i bought a wireless box thingy and connected it to hers so my laptop could connect. it has a built in wireless card so i didnt have to buy one.

Wireless is awesome... I'm thinking about setting up a network here, but my laptop is a bit old, and I'm not sure I would really want to do much on it...
one of the possible reasons for your random disconnects is that, you may have too many barriers hindering the signal. also many appliances use the same 2.4 gigahertz frequency as a wireless lan such as cordless phones and microwave ovens.
