All canadians please join in.... I am inspired by May LONG. Cold wind blowing over your private parts...
And all I remember was sitting beside you You said you didn't give a fuck about hockey And I never saw someone say that before You held my hand and we walked home the long way You were loosening my grip on Bobby Orr
Bill Barilko disappeared that summer, he was on a fishing trip. The last goal he ever scored won the Leafs the cup They didn't win another until 1962, the year he was discovered. I stole this from a hockey card, I keeped tucked up under
Every night in my dreams I see you. I feel you. That is how I know you go on. Far across the distance And spaces between us You have come to show you go on. Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on Once more you open the door And you're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on Love can touch us one time And last for a lifetime And never let go till we're gone Love was when I loved you One true time I hold to In my life we'll always go on Near, far, wherever you are I believe that the heart does go on Once more you open the door And you're here in my heart And my heart will go on and on There is some love that will not go away You're here, there's nothing I fear, And I know that my heart will go on We'll stay forever this way You are safe in my heart And my heart will go on and on Seems appropriate... even though I must admit that I threw up 7 times in between copying and pasting those lyrics..
Those lyrics are very much Canadian, and for all we know, she might just be singing about her love for hockey.
"Far across the distance And spaces between us You have come to show you go on." this reminds me of a power play.
"Love can touch us one time And last for a lifetime And never let go till we're gone" Is clearly about a clash between two players, after which one ended up with a penalty and had to sit out a couple of minutes.
ayons le sexe dans la neige and to continue the greatness of canadian lyrics.... Hello out there, we're on the air, it's hockey night tonight. Tension grows, the whistle blows, and the puck goes down the ice. The goalie jumps, and the players bump, and the fans all go insane. Someone roars, "Bobby Scores!" at the good old hockey game Oh, the good old hockey game, is the best game you can name And the best game you can name is the good old hockey game. and this is one of the best songs in the world.... My country's bigger than most And if asked i boast 'cause i'm really proud So i shout it loud Though our numbers are few We will welcome you Although we don't have history Gold medal winning teams Heroes or prisoners World famous volcanoes Still what we've got's glorious 'cause we've got Rocks and trees And trees and rocks And rocks and trees And trees and rocks And rocks and trees And trees and rocks And rocks and trees And trees and rocks And water All right, everyone! We've got Rocks and trees And trees and rocks And rocks and trees And trees and rocks And rocks and trees And trees and rocks And rocks and trees And trees and rocks And water In canada, canada, canada, canada, canada, canada, canada, canada Canada, canada, canada, canada, canada, canada, canada, canada
Thanks Now that i think about it, it seems that every Canadian i've come across was very pleasant and friendly. I work at a tj maxx and we seem to have a good amount of customers from Canada. I can tell their canadians because their debit cards always get denied. A customer whos card got denied told me it's because the banks are different in Canada. But anyways when the card get denied the person never gets mad, they just use another card or whatever without bitching to me like its my fault. I remember this one time where I completely fucked up ringing up this huge purchase because i forgot to sign on to the register. Only after i finished ringing up the last item I realized not one item has gone through. The people who i was ringing up were Canadian (they told me) and acted like it was totally no big deal and helped me get all the items out of bags and ringed up. It was nice. You'd be surprised how many assholes who have freaked out on me for smaller mistakes.
