Customer smashes sneeze guard at Sydney pharmacy

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has urged people to respect the right of pharmacy staff to safety, following an incident at a Sydney store in which a sneeze guard was smashed by a disgruntled customer.

Pharmacist Ahmed Ouf, who was serving the customer, said: "I've been attacked verbally lots of times but as a health care professional who is on the frontline, I never thought that this would happen to me."

The incident happened in Auburn, Sydney, late on October 19.
