thinking about weddings

My whole point, for reals this time. You only wear a wedding dress once. Why not spend that cash on awesome clothes for the next couple of years so you can look good for your husband year round.

Yeah, we went shopping a bit when we eloped- and the /whole having actual money for vacation/honeymoon, instead of sitting through a boring wedding reception was awesome..
PLUS,still having money to put towards buying a house..
Honestly glad we did it the way we did- everyday since....

but some weird part of me still wants that big gawdy dress I would have no use for and no appropriate place to wear LOL!
