    at the slightest movement or sound
    in the middle of the night :)

    You realize over and over that you're stronger than you think.

    You realize how unselfishly you can love.

    You realize (and most of these were very cute ones and these coming up are not...) that you'll pretty much never go one more day without worrying about someone else.

    You realize that if someone is ever, not nice, to your child it will hurt you ten times more than if it happened to you.

    You realize how awesome and funny you are to someone else, no matter what.

    I would imagine that you realize you don't come first anymore. Your child does. I realize that somewhat with my animals here.
