yeah, i have a friend who does this. makes me want to rip the damn controller out of his hand. but then i'd have to be the one fast forwarding through commercials, and it's just not worth all that.

 

Yeah lol. Actually I pride myself on being able to timely hit play after an advert when its going +30-60/s fast forward.

 

^ yeah i'm not saying i'm bad at it; i'm a way more efficient fast forwarder than anyone else i know. but i'd still rather sit in my chair while someone else deals with it.

 

Why would anyone be making up things about ya?

 

The boss will call and ask me, "do you want to go home early" I say , "heck yeah!"

Lol. We were told the pound would be doomed if we didn't join the euro currency. It turned out that the pound saved us during the banks financial crash. We'd be in a very bad way now if we adopted the euro.

 

Be the best thing to happen to us in 10 years time. People are short sighted and want everything now.

 

Cops that tailgate you trying to get you to exceed the speed limit...

 

If a cop was trying to make me exceed the speed limit I was obviously not exceeding it while he was tailgating me.

 

I know all too well, believe me.

 

Okay... You are apparently not getting this.

I was obeying the law and I was not being pulled over, I was being tailgated. Cops in the US will try to make you break the law by tailgating you and making people panic, so they can pull you over. That is what makes me mad.


If I were to pull over without the cop flashing his lights to tell me to pull over, as you are suggesting I should have done, he would have stopped and accused me of whatever he felt like accusing me of, torn apart my truck looking for contraband that wasn't there and wasting my time. Which, by the way, would have made me madder...

I actually don't mind my personal scents. Sometimes I'll goike 5 days or more with no deodorant and I kinda like it.

i know that other poster is being intentionally dense, but i agree, that should be (and probably is) illegal. it's just dangerous, and serves no purpose except to potentially give the police a little revenue and maybe an opportunity for them to take out some pent up anger on someone who did nothing wrong.

i've had it happen to me several times, obviously as has every person who drives. but the one that i always remember was when i was driving home a few years ago and the cop flew up on me and followed me for at least a mile or two, the whole time no more than two feet from my back bumper. finally i got to my apartment complex and pulled into the private drive, and the cop just stopped at the driveway and sat there staring at me until i had parked and gone inside. i'm really glad that happened when it did and not a couple years earlier when i was more hotheaded, because even then i was about one second away from walking up to his car, ripping the door open, and shouting "what the fuck is your problem!?" at him.

 

Dining at my favorite place to eat......then finding out that the head most awesome cook quit and left.....

Now the meals at my favorite place to eat taste like shit.

My favorite place to eat went from 5 stars to zero stars.

 

Nowadays You Would Most Likely Have "Dashcam"......I Doubt Cops Would Do That In This Digital Age.....

And I will brake check anyone who rides so close I cant see their headlights in my rearview. Cop or not IDGAF
