oh that reminds me: people who use the apartment complex's communal laundry room, and put a load in the wash and just leave it there all day so nobody else in the other 50 apartments can wash anything.

yeah, you can take their stuff out if they're taking too long. but then they get pissy; once i took someone's stuff out of the dryer after they left it sitting in there for a couple hours, and then they came in as soon as i left the room and opened the dryer door so my stuff just sat there not drying as the timer ran out.
