people who think having a god is a replacement for having a conscience and demand you pretend the same thing and harass everyone who doesn't. oh and claim the only way a god can possibly exist is for it to be exactly like the way they claim it is. as if it somehow depended on their doing so.
The most annoying thing about Windows updates is losing the double click function for opening links. I have to reset each time, otherwise just dragging the cursor over a link causes it to open.Double click is a habit of mine from the days of Win 98.
I think generalizing is wrong. To give an example some people have come across a charity lacking integrity so they figure all charities lack integrity. Is this a false dichotomy? I would not give any money to the Heart Foundation in Australia because their nutrition advice is woefully outdated. This does not mean would not donate to other charities. I can see the merit of giving money directly to someone who really needs it.
Another example of generalization is diet. I am one of those people off avoiding dairy other than butter. I think many more people would be better off avoiding dairy. However some people are fine consuming dairy. A similar situation is with wheat that I am fine with. Some people are fine with sourdough bread but not yeast bread.
OR.....there's a trash can and a recycle can right next to each other, very clearly marked. People will walk right up and put their cans and bottles in the trash - or they'll put everything in the recycle bin thinking, "oh, the trash grunts will sort it all out. Aren't we great for recycling?".....no, likely that recycle load will go into the landfill because it is mixed with too much trash.
People who flush diapers and paper towels down the toilet in public restrooms. Makes the toilet unusable for others and leaves some poor soul with a crapy job.
