There is a pretty big stretch between being anorexic and being overweight. Neither one is healthy or attractive.

Not sure what you are getting at here..? Having an eating disorder is just as unhealthy as it is to be obese. The point is....healthy is beautiful. Whether anyone else wants to define it differently or not (At my height I can be 165 and in a healthy range, but still be called fat...).

I don't know how else I can word it, people will twist it however they want. I'm defending every human's right to feel good about themselves and only asking them to stop putting other's down because they're different/healthy/unhealthy/Whatever. It's not anyone's business. Leave them alone.

If you're losing sleep because someone else is anorexic or obese, then you need to add some fun to your life and stop worrying about what other people are doing or thinking. Feel good about yourself and everyone who says you shouldn't can go fuck themselves.

Why start it then? Haters will always be hating.

If you like yourself as you are you shouldn't be worrying.

If you don't like yourself try and change.

Size zero is stupid. If you're a size zero then you're like not even there and invisible or something. How does that size even work?
It's good to see a bit of competition tbh. Without little things like this even the Internet would start to become a little mundane. To hear a little thin girl is a lil bit upset, awww hahahahha.

I guess it's OK to criticize lean , thin , attractive folks. When someone reminds us of physical , aesthetic , and health ramifications of obesity ; they are deemed a "hater". LOL. No worries. Yanno , you really should be charged 2x for taking up that extra seat on the airplane.

Irm.....so very bitter. I have the genes to be thin, and was underweight most my life until 21 or so. I'm still thin, but I am healthy and toned because at 52 its important to exercise regularly.

I'm a normal weight now but I used to be really skinny even though I tried constantly to gain weight, and I was shamed for it all the time. I would probably be a rich woman if I had a dollar for everytime someone called me skeletaur or told me to go eat a hamburger. I personally thought bigger people had more acceptance than me when I was skinny.

Just look at irmisul's mean ass comment above, that's a good example of skinny shaming. she also reeks of insecurity

people comment on my skinny-ness all the time.
    "dude, don't you eat?"
to my wife: "when are you gonna fatten him up?"

it seems socially acceptable to tell someone they are too skinny, but it's obviously rude to comment about someone being too fat.

I've grown rather weary of receiving comments about how skinny I am.

Because of My metabolism, it's pretty much impossible for Me to surpass one-hundred-and-thirty-five pounds without first building up My muscle mass. I want to weigh one-hundred-and-forty-five.

    That's what political correctness does.

It's ok to make generalizations about men but not women; it's ok to say "whitie" but not "******"; it's ok to bash Christianity but not Islam; it's ok to shower the poor with welfare benefits, but not to bail out large corporations; it's ok to say heterosexual men are sexually predatory but not ok to say the same about gay men...the list goes on.

You basically take prevailing relationships of power and stand them on their head. Christian guilt at its finest.

I don't agree that it's socially acceptable to tell anyone that they should fatten up or lose weight. It's rude. I am used to being heavier so I haven't paid attention to any skinny shaming. I'm sure it's just as humiliating.

I don't know when people will learn that it doesn't help anyone. It just makes them feel worse. Which is why I pointed out that the only person who really has a right to say anything about weight is a doctor.

I've had a few gf's that were 0. They were all like 5'-5'3 and around 100 lbs. And not anorexic skinny, just petite.
