my parents had a "their song". it was begin the bagene. (or however its spellt) i can't say as i've ever really had one. maybe equium's zombie otter thing, or betoven's pastorial. joani mitchel's clouds, came pretty close, back in the day. moody blues knights in white satin with the london phil. (i think their faces really ruins the vid for me. shouldn't have human faces in it at all. just a kind of purple velvet curtain kind of animated like a flag in the wind, only inside of a poorly but strangely lighted room. nothing really suggesting anything human. i know. i'm weird. a journey through the convolutions of a forest. little furry creatures watching a narrow gauge d.m.u. go by, the way people would, but still only looking like they actually are. maybe window curtains seen from a bed, with the windows open and the breeze blowing them inward into the room. maybe visual clues that reinforce the lyric, but inanimate ones. no where anything that looks like a human face.) (the thing about moody blues for me, listening before there were such a thing as music vids, was a complete escape from all the human society and human image bullshit) no. there really isn't some kind of theme that resonates with my soul. there was, i think something called one bright pearl, that i don't think i ever did learn who it was by. it was a very early combination of electro-ambience with a contralto singer, sometime way back in the mid or even early 60s.
