Page one. Those were holding cells for temporary holding cells for people who had been there 40 days. Those are also the few sanitized videos we get that the government viewed fit for public consumption. We 'sheeple' don't get to just tour border facilities, and neither does the media. All we get is reports from people who have been there. China doesn't matter here. You're trolling.
Interesting how its the same one photo plastered across several news sites. Thats not s detention centre anyway, its an initial processing centre. And still, water bottles, ice, air conditioning ....hardly like a concentration camp Do you have any photos/videos where its like a concentration camp...you know, mass graves, dead bodies, ovens to cremate the dead?
It's a bit rich of you to call us sheeple when you didnt even watch your own video. 10 seconds into the video they explain it was one facility hand picked for a media tour and contrasts with pictures taken a week before in the same facility. And I want to add, it contrasts with reports from immigration lawyers who have been allowed access, which is what I'm going on because journalists haven't really been allowed much access to these facilities. Videos are few and far between. Lode posted a video above that showed men packed in standing room only. Did you not watch it? As to your other points, I'm glad the US is helping Venezeula but it has a history of accepting refugees from certain countries while shunning others. They allowed Cuban refugees to flow freely into the US while turning away Haitian refugees. The fact that we're allowing in Venezeulan refugees doesnt excuse putting legal asylum seekers and their children from Honduras, Guatemala, etc into prisons. I'm not sure why you think it does. As for China, start your own thread about it. This thread is specifically about the treatment of detained asylum seekers on US soil.
noun a place where large numbers of people, especially political prisoners or members of persecuted minorities, are deliberately imprisoned in a relatively small area with inadequate facilities, sometimes to provide forced labor or to await mass executio
SOMETIMES to await mass execution. Mass execution doesnt have to exist for something to be a concentration camp. Reading comprehension is important.
I'm missing the point? Thread title is "They ARE con(c)entration camps" But you dont have a single photo or video to show they are like concentration camps? Utterly ridiculous to refer to them as concentration camps in the first place
So you didnt watch the video Lode posted You haven't read any of the reports from lawyers detailing the inhumane conditions. You have no idea what you're talking about basically
China is really the only country in the world at the moment that does have concentration camps, forced labour, executions, forced organ trading. You are the one thats trolling if you are going to call these US detention centres concentration camps
I watched the video, I didnt see any mass graves or dead bodies or forced labour. Clothed, fed, access to showers, access to healthcare no doubt The only negative was it was overcrowded. Most of your prisons are over crowded. Ridiculous trying to refer to them as concentration camps in the first place
No. Like I said, lawyers have outlined the conditions. No showers. No access to basic hygienic items like soap or toothpaste. No access to healthcare, lawyers have detailed how they have had to fight to get some really sickly people access to a doctor. No beds in some facilities. And you're ignoring the fact that legal asylum seekers and children shouldn't be in prison. They've broken no laws You have no clue what you're talking about.
It won't change the fact that you mentioned him first, or that people like Mel and Lode are clearly more focused on this particular subject than Trump in general. I just think it's dumb to act like they're motivated by an irrational dislike of Trump rather than that their dislike of Trump comes from things in the world they see as wrong.
Do you seriously think they would build detention centers without showers? Does that sound reasonable to you. And you could tell by the men in the video they had razors, and seemingly laundry since their clothes were reasonably clean. Why would they provide razors, but not soap? And of course they would have access to basic healthcare, there are job adverts for doctors and nurses at that same weslaco facility on the web.
Concentration camps are not always extermination camps. Trump might be thinking about busing or boxcar-ing the darkies he don't like, you know … Mexicans, Guatemalans, Hondurans, Muslims, Africans, all sorts of "cans".
Which basically means you know I'm right Beyond arguing on an internet forum, what else do you think they have done to effect change They hate Trump, and they just like arguing, if you had a Dem president at the moment, you wouldnt hear a peep
I'm not a Democrat you moron This partisan bullshit wont work on me And my sense of right and wrong remains firmly intact no matter who the president is
