Theres a fire! - What would you grab ?

My house actually DID catch fire back in August.

The only things I got out were the dogs, the cats, and the pajamas I was wearing. Most everything on my end of the house turned out to be okay and we got it out a couple days later. Most of it was smoky or sooty, though. But all of the living critters were safe and that's the most important thing.

Dad says if it ever happens again, I should just let it burn to the ground. XD

1. My backpack which already has my
2. wallet in it with all my old ID.
3.and small photo album with pics I have left of my kids
4. spare clothes to change into
5. Jewelry my dad made me

See very easy for me to carry on with life if my place of residence burns down gets flooded out or whatever. Don't feel I need to worry about getting robbed either cuz there's nothing I own worth anything to anyone else. Also makes it very easy to just grab the backpack & travel anywhere I want.

Well my landlord dropped off new fire extinguishers about 2 months ago, therfore that would be the first thing I would grab. However, if the fire isn't extinguished immediately, it is time to get outta here. I'm going to cheat and lump all 3 of my pets as one thing. Next, I will grab my wallet (drivers license, credit cards, social security card, atm card). My backpack which contains my "life" (my prescription medications, my work apron, micros card, speed opener & address book). Finally, I would try to grab my computer but, it is a desktop. Therefore, I would grab the CPU time permitting.

 

my bob dylan cds, my led zeppelin 45's, my favorite hoodie(because its hella-cold) and my abbie hoffman book collection.

 

I would grab a bucket of water and extinguish the fire...

i dont think i'd grab anything. i'd make sure my man was out safe, and get the cats and dog out of the house. besides that, nothing is really important. its just material stuff. it would be good to grab all my pics, but they are spread out all over the house. ***makes mental note to arrange photos in an easy to find place in case of FIAH!**
