2 new age stores in Phoenix were Jan Ross , and John Rodgers ( don't remember the name of the place) there were a few others across the valley. I don't think any are still around. San club has a few books ( not med phy new age) and Goodwill has used books. Every year the vnsa has a book sale at the state fair grounds. The vnsa does have used new age books .

 

Damn ghost opening my door at 3am last night. Then did the same to my neighbour.

 

Maybe there’s more than one

 

I never considered that.

My bedroom door.

 

Just opened it, and the floorboards creaked!!!
I hid under the covers.
I spoke to my neighbour, the same thing happened half hour later???
I am sure whatever it is, maybe searching for something.
Even my hair brush got moved to another room!

 

Ive a phantom following me around making door locks ping. not sure what that's about. My bedroom door the lock will just make a noise, the kitchen door did the same thing. And then I'm at work and the door to where we keep stuff goes ping after it sat open and open for hours. I had to speak to it because I wonder what the locks are about.
What ya doing in the locks little fella?

 

Hmmm - Brighton had its own version - a workhouse converted to a General Hospital !!!

 

It was moved to my spare room, my office. The only room that has the old fireplace still. Mmmm
I will post a story from long past about something that happened to a close friend of mine.

 

I am glad I am not the only one with these strange happenings.

As promised.

As a teen, I had many older friends, my hubby is older than me, he was in the Navy, so I would meet with friends.
One lived alone in an old house converted into two flats.
She lived in the ground floor flat.

We used to have a few drinks before hitting the night clubs.
On this particular evening we were chatting away and smoking a few spliffs.
She went to the kitchen to fetch more alcohol, and I heard this noise coming from the fireplace!
It was boarded up, but I heard scratching and flew into the kitchen to tell her.
Don't be silly she said, most likely a bird fell down the chimney.
Well it continued, she turned the music off, we were listening to, and faint whispers were heard by both of us.
I had goosebumps!!!
Then as we removed the screen, I saw the bricks had been loosened!

We both looked closer!!!
We both saw, what looked like a large claw!!!
We both heard a faint voice, saying I am coming for you!!!

I have never left a house in such a hurry, she was right behind me.
She stayed with me that night, and never returned to her flat.
Her brothers collected her things.

That place was demolished not too many years later.

 

Oh damn!! That is not cool at all

 

Creepy. Why didn't you guys undo a few bricks like in the movies and let it out?

 

All true. Never ever to be forgotten.

 

That's already inspiring me to make a horror!
