Thanks for asking! I am growing cucumbers, various kinds of tomatoes, basil, pole beans, a few hot peppers and a couple of squash plants. I would say that tomato plants are the biggest part of my garden this year. I hope to dry some, freeze some and eat some and share a lot with family in this area. Local food pantry is beggin' for fresh foods, not just the canned stuff, so I will make sure they get some too.
I used to go dumpster diving. The dumpster behind the clothing store threw out new perfectly good coat hangers. I grabbed a few every time I passed by and sold them to the laundromat for 2 cents each. I made enough money to wash and dry my clothes! And I'd like to think that our county landfill is better off without those hangers.

I was born in Atlanta and moved to Jackson, Ga when I was 12 then to Kansas when I was 19. I'm thinking of going for a visit early next year.
