What? Are you kidding me? In 100 years mankind has used up one-half of all the oil on the planet. Look it up here.
It's the end of the world as we know it...and I feel fine. (REM kicks ass, no?) I actually really do feel fine, because I know that I make a difference everyday when I speak out against all the injustices that the kids my age have to go through everyday. (Most of which they inflict on themselves, but still) Most of them don't even realize it's happening. They don't listen half the time, but I know I'm at least making a difference to one child, one mind, one soul. I have faith in America, and I act on that faith. Derek is right. It's not enough to just have hope. You have to DO something about it. You have to educate yourself and others around you. Well those were my two cents. Damn I need money. I'm applying for a job sometime soon...yay...
hmm. me and my ddad were just discussing our screwedness today. moving to canada seems like the only viable answer. oh, and soulrebel51-my friend kelsey thinks you're hot as hell, if that cheers you up any.
It is not just one man, it is entire administration. And if you haven't noticed, the destruction of this country has been going on for the last couple of years. It is the only choice if we continue fighting. There is simply not enough troops or reserves to keep sending overseas. And about Bush saying there will not be a draft; he lied about the wmd's, the Saddam-Al Queda connection, and Saddam planning to attack our country. And no, not all people are submissive to the government. So when even more shit hits the fan, you can count on a revolt of some sort. Fuck the legalization of marijuana. There is much more important things to be worried about. And a true seperation of church and state will never, ever happen. The more important things? The Patriot Act, is just one example... And about us all being able to be President; well that is just plain false. Our empire won't even be around for another 30 years. Great Britian is allies with America, and as long as Blair is in power, I doubt that will ever change. A war between the U.S/Britian and China over some false terrorist action is so possible its not even funny. We did it with Iraq, didn't we?
Aha, thank you, Kelsey About moving to Canada....hmm..thats an option, but I would never do it. Not anytime soon, anyway...
Krystin, you really are wonderful. I do love that REM song. I also love what you said in your second paragraph. You really just have to do what you can. I need money and a job too. Derek, did you finally quit that awful place? Whatever shall they do without you?
Nuthin'. I'm just going to... well... not do shit from now on. Haha, actually, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'll keep reading up on the government/9-11 for now. That seems to be more important than a job right now, anyway.
Well thank you very much. Eeeew Best Buy. I prefer Half Priced Books for music. Make love:start a revolution, Love from Illicarolina, Krystin
I don't know... well, I DO still live at home, you know. It's not like my parents are going to let me starve.
I knew that, silly. I meant like, spending money. You know... money to pay for your wild nights on the town.
