its mostly about setting the mood your brain does so much of the work.. but if you get in the mindset of the theme then your golden regardless of what you do I think...

i highly doubt you have mescaline-laced LSD blotters. even if the entire blotter paper was made of pure mescaline, it wouldn't be a high enough dose to feel it.

Was much like acid only more "personal" if that makes sense?

you can be sure, you can't get 100's of mg on a tab. and the 2-4 mg you can get soaked into a tab isnt enough to trip.
you can however get enough nbome on a blotter to trip.

and nbome's/phenethalimines are in the mescaline family, maybe thats why he's saying its mescaline.

My friend, your dealer sold you a cheap ass RC called "NBOME". Tons of dealers passing that off as "acid". It's much more toxic than LSD (several deaths in its short arrival on the scene and dozens of hospitalizations) and has the visual themes you describe here. It is neither mescaline (which requires a dose much too large to fit on blotter) nor LSD. I suggest politely inquiring as to why he is selling it as such and perhaps exploring compensation options for your money and time.

 

no. like i said before, even if the entire weight of a single blotter was 100% mescaline, it would NOT be enough to feel any effects.
i just weighed a blotter with NBOMe in it, that happens to be larger than LSD blotters. it weighed 36 mg. a light dosage of mescaline according to Dr. Shulgin is 178 mg of the HCl salt. so, no, you wouldn't feel 36 mg of mescaline, and you wouldn't get a blotter that was MADE OF MESCALINE.

it MAY have been acid, but his comment about mescaline would lead me to guess that it was an NBOMe chemical. were the tabs bitter or numbing?

It's not just your mates! Some companions and I held an acid night to the theme of Alice in wonderland and it was excellent! we were all a different character in full on fancy dress, but we made the rule that no electronic technology was to enter our lives until the trip was over. For me, staring at any screen is a serious buzzkill when you're on syd. The theme was great, don't get me wrong, we spent the first 2 hours way more concerned with my mate's intricate curtain designs than anything else, but eventually I turned round to find myself sat between a doormouse and the cheshire cat and was a happy bean indeed. :2thumbsup:

(If you try it, get some pink energy drink, put it in a jar, write drink me on the side like in the book and tell your pals it'll make them smaller. I was like 'please, I'm tripping, not a moron', but it actually did make the room grow because I let myself believe it )
