All of them metal is by design horrible music. Can they play fast? sure but it has zero understanding of audio live and the vocals are horrible but they are supposed to be. :GROWLS YOU CAN NOT UNDERSTAND about blood and Satan: then a bunch of banging. I just wrote a metal song.
I hope you’re being facetious, and are actually a huge metal head. Hopefully your hilarious sarcastic joke simply went over my head. Otherwise that’s an ignorant comment even by social media standards. I’d be happy to recommend some music that could possibly alter your narrow view of a diverse genre of music.
Wow fem you tell him. Studies show that metal music attracts people with a higher intelligence. Now does your music incorporate any Pentatonix scales? Then is it really called music when another artist is being sampled?
I have to agree with the comment below your post. It sounds like you grew a dislike for certain themes, agression and vocal styles. You simply lack affinity to the genre.
Yes. You don't have to like it though. Or even acknowledge But yes, music is still music when it contains samples. Sometimes metal bands use samples too btw
The vocalist is awesome, the band would be if we would only look at the highlights. But they put out some horrible albums. Holy diver is the only real classic. The rest of Dio's awesome stuff was made with Richie Blackmore's Rainbow and Black Sabbath. oh yeah: and don't forget Roger Glovers Love is all (at the butterfly ball)
Our son plays in a metal band. They would come top of my list any day. LMAO. I never even got as far as asking them what the band was called. They all just did their own thing and seemed to forget that they were on the same stage. Perhaps I need to stick to opera. LOL.
Perhaps its not useful to judge a whole genre by your son's band Especially when they really sound like they're not playing together
Last in line was the other album with some good songs, yes. But he made like 8 or something under the name Dio.
I'll listen to the other 6 and get back to you. Those two were my favorite all time, along with what he did with black sabbath and rainbow
It's awesome you missed all the bad stuff. Be prepared to be bored and disappointed. It pains me a bit to say because Dio's good stuff is really for the ages and makes him one of the best in his genre for me as well.
I don't listen to metal. It's just too...much for me. It's too intense, too fast, too aggressive and in your face. It's sonic overload. That being said, yeah AC/DC is fucken atrocious. 40 years of basically playing the same goddamn song over and over again and calling it new material. But, they made a lot of money, so more power to them.
