If the point would be admiring the beauty of this world there are better things to admire on this planet. I'm sorry for you.
Ah, you ment that's the point for your existence? Thought you ment all humans since that was what we're talking about
if there were no people, i wouldn't need to realize it. the fact of the matter is, humanity fucks shit up. no other species has done this, only humans can be blamed for ruining the earth. SURE, humans do great things, but none of these things are as great as the things that have already been done by nature. i know the earth will heal itself eventually, but the fact that we've damaged it so badly is just disgusting to me. something can be beautiful without someone to see it. the earth is a perfect example of that. i can see what you mean about idiots... but keep in mind, without people, plants and trees would naturally plant themselves. humans are not needed for the earth to flourish. i am content at all times, if i had never existed, it wouldn't really matter. its already going up in flames /:
When you stomp your feet you aren't hurting me, But you're always killing something just by living on the earth
Yes, for quite a while. It really started 'burning' with the second industrial revolution I guess. Also because of the massive human population growth, before that it was a little bit more in proportion. Slowly but surely, so you still have some time to get your kicks
The world is there for us to live on, we should just try and take care of it, rather than continue to abuse it for our own good.
This is simply because if there were no people, you wouldn't be here to realize anything, being how you are a person.
Without humans the Earth wouldn't be beautiful because there'd be no one to appreciate its beauty. Humans do nothing different then other animals do, it's just we've added politics, state, religion, weapons and complex thought to it.
It one could but recognize that nature is tastefully arranged, we wouldn't be thinking we can make it better.
Just because we invented the idea of beauty doesn't mean it isn't beautiful anymore without us realizing it...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfBpJrn0sqg"]YouTube- roe buck eaten alive by maggots Even without humans the world will maintain both sad and beautiful events... Perhaps we only seem to think our view on it makes it so?
It's a nice thought. But if beauty is just an idea, a response by a human to explain and define an emotional reaction, then technically when humans are gone, there is no beauty. I think man is beautiful, while the universe is.
Ya, it wouldn't matter. Isn't it beautiful how we can pointlessly speculate about the existence of beauty in a world without humans?
and if humanity weren't so pointlessly technologically advanced, we wouldn't have to worry about messing up the natural process of the earth. things are supposed to die, they are supposed to be eaten, but they are not supposed to be tortured like in slaughterhouses, or grown in massive fields overrun by pesticides like on farms. humans are only supposed to be hunters and gatherers, fishers, maybe grow things on small scales. but we've fucked it up. we are slowly but surely ruining our home... humans have a tendency to do this, i think. agree... but this is not human nature anymore. We've evolved into creatures who are never content with what they have, and only thirst for more. more what? more everything. more food, more toys, more everything D:< that is the exact opposite of what i'm saying. if i had never existed, along with the rest of human kind, it would be grand. if humans were never around, or had never evolved in this manner, i would NEED to realize anything. I would rather realize that i am just a part of nature, part of the food chain, or something... but rather we dominate, which causes me to need to realize this. the earth would be beautiful without anyone to observe it. and we do things MUCH differently than animals. Like i said before, animals don't ruin the natural processes of things like we do. things are supposed to be eaten, etc. and i believe this is a key idea to human nature. we have the idea that we can make things better than they are, but we don't realize it's already perfect. exactly ): if you imagine a world where things are exactly how they should be, it doesn't include anything that would make a person sad. sadness probably wouldn't exist, outside of death. death would be completely natural, it would all be right, unlike now. this is what i'm attempting to explain... do you all understand what i mean now? something beautiful does not require someone to gaze upon it... it is still beautiful without anyone to see it.
