i say "probly" instead of "probably"...its just easier that way. and the air force says "air power" woot woot
I like "HOOT". As in..... he's a real "HOOT". Or.. "that was a real hoot". Although I don't talk to alot of people anymore (except here), it annoys me when I watch the tube or am in the presence of some one who at every pause or about 300 times per paragraph interjects..."know what I'm sayin'?" Some say it after every 4 words....by the time they have done it twice I have completly lost any interest in what they are sayin'..... Out here in the boonies I have never heard anyone say "woot" although I have seen it online.... We just cuss as much as possible at my house.
I think you have a serious problem if a single word pisses you off. Save your energy for some important things or go masturbate or something.
Same here. I am pretty sure that if I was to say it to someone where I live they would think I was a nutcase.
i'm of the generation just at the beginning of "woot." when i was in high school it started to become fairly big. however, i associate it with the generation just behind mine. i hear my little sister saying "woot woot" all the time. i hear her in my head right now. it makes me crazy. i'm much more a "WHOOO! or "WHOOHOO!" kind of person. i never pronounce the 't' at the end, it seems superfluous to me.
I don't like "woot" either. I remember the first time I heard someone say it. I got back in touch with this ex-boyfriend I hadn't seen in years. And we're sitting in a diner talking over coffee and suddenly he gets excited about something, raises both hands in the air, and says, "Woot Woot!" He looked so stupid and unattractive. Yuck. Hate that word.
