Great frickin' show. I was surprised by this, and not sure why I ave it a chance, as I'm not into the usual detective/police shows. It's right there with Weeds and Dexter, and was alongside Deadwood in my handful of favorite shows. I believe this is the final season, coming up, season 5. I really like how the stories from the lowest denomination of street thugs tie into the higher-level political aspects of the show. Well integrated plotlines, great characters and an overall kickass show. Anyone else watch this?
The Wire is amazing, one of my favourite TV programmes ever Each series is like a novel, with interwoven plots and a real depth of character. It doesn't insult your intelligence but requires your input to piece it all together. Just brilliant.
True, but it's all in the game though, right? Honestly I think this is the best tv show ever made, and any individual episode is better than most movies, too. No show or movie in my opinion has ever explored a city in such a fearless and unrestrained way. Plus then there's Omar... ::Whistles The Farmer in the Dell:: :willy_nilly:
