...a howling wilderness does not howl: it is the imagination of the traveler that does the howling.... HDT
today it is the computer, smart phones that is rotting the brain. Faster than tv ever did. Look at all the cognitive disorders today and is related to computers, Computers, phones, the internet are training young people. They are loosing a lot. For example, they want to see stars, they look on their computer rather than going outside and looking up. Studies have show that cognitive disorders are related to Alzheimer’s and dementia. So basically we have a fairly large number of young people who will loose their mind. I have seen commercials, that in it they will put in sounds like a door bell or a ding you hear on a smart phone. This is used to shut off your brain in its thought process and redirect your attention.
Real wilderness. Hmmm, in the USA? Only 2,9 percent of the USA is real Wilderness, protected and half of that is in Alaska and even those areas have roads and stuff going through them
A 3-part series from 1996 on Britain's ITV (Channel 3). Amanda Ooms offered a respectable performance as Alice White in this the television adaptation of Dennis Danvers' novel of the same name: "Wilderness." It's real in that the series exists and was produced. It's not real in that the story and characters exist withing the broad genre of fiction, of course. Most situations involving werewolves, or people who believe that they are werewolves, involve some departure from reality. I wouldn't call it "fuck tv," but the main character has a lover and there emerges a love triangle.
