    Me too Candy Gal.
It is a bit of a job getting around the forum though, so as to be able to say something of interest.
But I am interested in you.
    That is for sure!:yum:

I haven't been a member of this forum very long, but I hope that all who have joined from the UK are happy here.
I welcome anyone I missed, and am trying to get to know exactly who is here.
    For me.
I live near Llandudno in North Wales so qualify for this thread.

Hi, just joined and posted in the Introduce Yourself section.
I'll add a bit more UK specific stuff here.
I went to Stonehenge Free Festival from '80 to '83. I got a free ticket to Glastonbury in '84, so narrowly missed The Battle of the Beanfield.
I went to Stonehenge for the Winter Solstice a couple of times around then as well, and had the place pretty much to myself at dawn. It's a bit different these days from what I've seen.
I stayed at Wheatstone Commune for a weekend a couple of times, but never really considered living that life.
I visited CAT at Machynlleth when it was all still Blue Peter style wind generators made out of sticky-back-plastic and egg boxes. Again, I didn't really feel like committing to that lifestyle.
Now I'm just a semi-retired truck mechanic/driver looking back and thinking 'I've done some bad, I've done some good, I did a whole lot better than they thought I would'.
