    Italian gangs use to be pretty big in New York until the Puerto Rican gangs took over their turf. Never seen Gangs of New York. I felt The Bronx Story was a good realistic movie about an Italian boy who felt in love with a black woman when the blacks and Italians were rivalries against each other. I believe that was 50's or 60's New York before heroin destroyed the city.

    The Warriors is one of my favorite movies, I think they have a cult following in the world of indie rock, there are two bands named after gangs in the movie, the Grammercy Riffs and the Turnbull AC’s
