Its an interesting movie to watch but i found the gangs to be way too hollywood and corny for my taste. They look like a bunch of circus clowns compared to real new york city gangs. If you want something more realistic i recommend American Gangsta and Sugar Hill.

My fav movie about New York gangs is about them white boys in Gangs of New York Lets face it: those drug handling city boys have nothing on a guy like Bill the Butcher!
