Gardener you're being a bit disingenuous. The bombings you quoted took place in 1979. You should have pointed that out.

While Northern Ireland still wants independence, it has been given a stronger hand at self-governance and Catholics now have rights that they did not have before. It's not perfect but it's a lot better than it was 20 years ago. The IRA ceased it's armed conflict in July 2005.

I know people like you think that the people that carried out those attacks, carried them out at the behest of powers not recognised; otherwise known as an unsubstantiantiated load of rubbish, which if asked for evidence would, I know, people like you would resort to evidence not even the French would use in their courts of law.
