The War is (almost) Over!

Someone else's opinion about the Iraq invasion and some of Bush's self-contradictory remarks regarding the need for UN approval yet at the same time referring to the UN as irrelevent if he didn't get his way.

The War, as you call it, is very much NOT almost over. U.S. soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan are sitting ducks on the highway, and they're meant to stay that way for quite some time. It's all a con really. There's so much to learn.

There wasn't any problem with al qaeda in Iraq until Bush invaded.

then about 2 paragraphs down it says "violence kills 17"

Yeah i am being sarcastic.. but i don't wish to drag the debate back to ''we should not be there'' ''we should not have started a illegal war'' ... etc.

Yeah their is violence now.. caused by those that supposedly are fighting for the Iraqis. I think we can agree.. thats if your the right type of Iraqi.
