wow this brings back memories, when I was a kid, my grandmother would mix cow dung in water and spread it all over the muddy porch we used to have. Ah the good old days.

Yes, cow dung is used to clean, yup. Is feces a bad word? I wouldn't know. But you have to admit, cow dung is considered disgusting in the west.

And where have I stated that . I have stated that sexual images of common men can indeed be painted or drawn. And that erotic paintings and sculptures of the gods depicting religious ideals can also be painted and drawn.

I don't understand, isn't there a better way to fight child abuse? Why offend mary who is considered divine by many people? There has to be a better way for the artist to project whatever he is trying to project.

The artist who supposedly offended the hindus, wasn't he doing this then? wasn't he painting Gods to depict religious ideals?

Cow dung and urine have indeed been proven by ayurveda and modern science to have medical and antiseptic properties.

"depicting a female form wielding weapons in her many arms, evoking a goddess from the Hindu pantheon, and giving birth."

    Female form= Goddess Shakti
She wields many weapons to show that she can take away one's life.
She gives birth at the same time to show she is the reason for our birth.
She is Birth , She is death. The art could be said to represent the cycle of birth and death and rebirth. It represents reincarnation.

And why did you put just half my sentence instead of completing it.

    Here you go....

It is erotic poses of the gods, who hold a high position in many hindus that I condemn, unless eroticism is made to depict a religious ideal , like that of shiva-shakti , and the shiva linga.

I always knew you were very jealous of me and my virility and my steamy and passionate affairs, which you are very curious of like a frustrated denied boy , hence I understand why you took half of my sentence to vilify me.

Better luck next time, snakeface.

we serpent folks don't take kindly to being riled

esp by idiots who are so puffed up with their own tiny ego trips and pseudo 'knowledge' and who don't even seem to comprehend the implications of their own pronouncements.
