Bullshit! They haven't shown much against the AFC. Plus, Steelers already beat them once this year.

 

Tom Brady's TD-INT ratio is 2:1. Not saying the guy is over-rated or anything, just pointing that out because it's something I found interesting. For comparison, Drew Brees's was 3.86:1. Culpepper? 3.55:1. McNabb? 3.88:1. Manning? 4.9:1. Brady, according to that, is certainly upper-tier, but he isn't one of the elite QBs of the league. He is just lucky enough to play on a team that makes the depth of the Pacific Ocean look like the YMCA kiddie pool.

Oh, and Vick? 1.14:1. With the running backs he has, that number is, if I'm generous, mediocre.


For perspective, the league TD-INT ratio this past season was, roughly, 1.396:1.

 

Why else? Flaming.

 

Considering his receivers, if I may understate, it's a fucking miracle. Give him one good receiving option aside from Crumpler and you'll eat those words.

 

better yet, put that overrated hick, Manning in the Atl offense and you'd watch a grown man cry.

 

Price is actually good, but he is best as a No. 2 receiver, as a compliment to someone. And Finnerin would make an excellent No. 3. I still say Vick is an amazing player, but not a great quarterback.

 

Price is decent, at best. I agree he'd make a good number 2, but he'd only shine with a receiver such as Heinz Ward or Torry Holt that's capable of bailing his QB out of trouble while he finds his rhythm in a given game. Does poor throwing numbers really make a QB "bad"? Or is it his ability to manage the team and get the job done at any time? I still say he's more effective, overall, than Peyton Manning. He's an assload more versatile, as I know you'll agree, he just needs to settle down and work on his reads.

 

I'll say it again: Vick is not a great quarterback because he has yet to show that he can run an offense without being the offense.

 

Vick is a mediocre passer at best! McNabb on the other hand can run AND pass.
