my bread came out good. i was kneading it when i realized i was only going to get one loaf out of it (i usually make a double batch) but it has good texture, a very nice crust (no egg wash or butter) and its even holding together when i slice it. today will be the real test, sandwiches for lunch. then tomorrow maybe french toast. have to put a bread through its paces nom nom. cinnamon raisin bread is one of my favorites to make because itis so expensive at the store, and its so good that it disappears in a hurry. buying it always feels like a waste of $6. but whn you make it yourself you can change up the ingredients, the spices and the dried fruit. you can make 2 loaves and have it last a couple of days. makes so much more sense

oh yeah. join the toads! it gets us out and about. we walk around a lake near us that is full of artwork. it is pretty cool.

hmmm, i dont know if it will. i turn off my gps when i am not actively playing, plus, the way i figure it, if the nsa wants my ass they are gonna get it, regardless of the apps i use or games i play.

im attempting to carve a crochet hook for my mom's birthday present. i was going to do a hummingbird, but i dont have any suitably shaped wood for that, and i think it might be more advanced than i am capable of. i will probably carve something on the side, i dont know yet. we will see.

twenty minutes until the bread is done. the house smells like cinnamon

 

so me and a friend are hanging out last night watching a movie. just us 2. roommate calls, asks if she can come home (cause of the fight the yesterday) I say... yea of course you can come home why are you asking me this?

she walks in the door 1/2 hour later and she looks fucked up.

we start talking, and damn does she know how to piss anyone off.. staying on subject... well one thing led to another and she says 'ima go kill myself'

I tell her, no your not, and with what? how you gonna do it? so she walks into her room grabs a bottle of vicodin and fucking swallows them... no clue how much she took..

so I run to the living room and wake my friend up, cause I cannont communicate with her, we try to get her to throw up, she wouldn't. so we called 911.

fucking 911 people asking me all these questions that has NOTHING to do with the situation, so I said get a fucking ambulance here now, no you cant have my name, and I hung up. 20 mins go by, call 911, they say its on way.

they show up at 3am, and take her to the hospital. I talked to her twice this morning, and everything she said.... NO I DONT HATE YOU stfu with that shit, you need REHAB, cause we care for you..

well it sounds like she is being transferred in state to another hospital. she has a criminal record, all kinds of history so I don't know if ill ever see her again...

and the house IS FILLED with her stuff...I like a lot of it... but fuck me I need a roommate again AGAIN hasdhvfhasd

nobody is going to come and pick this stuff up, so WTF am I gonna do,,, dammit... so chances are im going to have to box all her bedroom shit and put it somewhere fuck I don't know..

at least I have a cool leather couch now
